Concept
La Jornada Central is
an editorial project designed to
transform
large volumes of information into a clear, dynamic, and visually structured reading experience.
Built around a flexible grid and a defined typographic hierarchy, the system organizes news,
imagery, and different levels of content while maintaining visual consistency. The design
balances the traditional structure of a newspaper with a contemporary visual language, resulting
in a functional, recognizable, and cohesive publication across its different sections.
Objective
To design a functional and cohesive editorial system that
facilitates the organization and reading of large volumes of information, establishing clear
hierarchies between headlines, body text, imagery, and sections while maintaining La Jornada
Central’s visual identity.
